Albino Arctic Cinnamon 50%ph Sable 50%ph Axanthic

Cinnamon has a pretty interesting inheritance pattern. In general, males tend to show the trait more strongly and are easier to identify, while females can carry the Cinnamon gene without showing an obvious phenotype and still produce Cinnamon offspring. From our breeding experience so far, Cinnamon babies can make up anywhere from about 15% to 55% of a clutch, with an average of roughly 35%. That is somewhat lower than the theoretical 50% expected for a dominant trait. One possible explanation is that some of the “missing” Cinnamon offspring are actually females whose phenotype is too subtle to identify visually. Of course, there are also females like this one, where the Cinnamon phenotype is clearly visible. Her coloration is especially cute—lighter than an Albino Arctic, with a softer, slightly pale yellow tone.
