This offspring comes from an outcross between our third-generation line and our Purple Red Extreme Red line. In our experience, continued inbreeding beyond the F2 generation can increase the risk of inbreeding depression in hognose snakes. We therefore introduce unrelated bloodlines every three generations to maintain exceptional visual traits alongside good health and fertility. This one has a whiter base color, creating a beautiful, striking contrast between red and white.
