This baby’s parents are our 3rd generation Gray Matter Extreme Red Albino Conda × Purple Line Extreme Red Het Albino. Line-breeding Hognose snakes for too many generations often risks inbreeding depression, causing drops in overall health, lifespan, and fertility. To push the visual expression further while keeping the hatchlings robust, we outcrossed to another gorgeous Purple Line Extreme Red. The gamble paid off beautifully—the results are stunning, with the entire clutch showing incredibly rich colors that completely outshine the parents!
